This distributor is designed for use with an MSD 6, 7 or 8 Series ignition. It features a CNC-machined 6061-T6 billet aluminum housing that’s stable and lightweight. An upper-sealed ball bearing prevents shaft wobble at high rpms. The shaft is polished and Tuftrided to minimize friction and allow stable operations through 10,000 rpm. Includes Dupont Rynite distributor cap base, Severe Duty adjustable mechanical advance, and a high-output magnetic trigger.
Fits Chevy, 262-454 V8 with mechanical advance only.
